The Rumble Kong League (RKL) is thrilled to announce an exciting transition in its development journey. After careful consideration and a commitment to delivering the best sports gaming experience possible, RKL welcomes a new game development partner: the Brazilian-based game studio, Hermit Crab.

The decision to transition to Hermit Crab Game Studio comes after extensive evaluation, feedback, and assessment of the previous partner’s progress and goal alignment.

Various obstacles, including issues with talent acquisition, time management, and reaching development milestones, impeded progress, leading to delayed deadlines and extended timelines. While the previous development partner contributed greatly to the game’s foundation, RKL believes that change is essential for growth.

Hermit Crab introduces a refreshing perspective, a wealth of experience, and a vision that perfectly complements the RKL team. This transition is anticipated to enhance RKL’s market efficiency significantly.

Who is Hermit Crab?

Since its inception in 2016, Hermit Crab has built a team of approximately 100 dedicated professionals, boasting over a decade of collective experience in the gaming industry. Their expertise covers game development, distribution, and brand licensing.

They have created games for renowned sports organizations such as Arsenal Football Club, Manchester City, Benfica, and Paris Saint Germain, bringing immense experience within the sports genre.

Despite just launching NFT horses recently, DeRace is currently working on improving NFT horses. Upgrading these in-game characters will improved user experience in the game. It is currently working on adding new coats and patterns to the horses. Besides the looks, there will also be changes to animations and movements during races. Actions like running, galloping, pawing and other actions will become event REALER.

In-game Shop as Part of Improved Gameplay

There are plans to create an in-game marketplace where players can trade NFTs. However, it needed to test how well the game can handle its own marketplace. It recently launched an in-game shop on the platform. This shop powered the just concluded horse sale and debuted smart contracts. It was first instance of an in-game trading platform. However, this is not the final edition of this marketplace. The developers are observing it and will decide what to include or remove in subsequent updates.

Changes to Vesting Schedule

Besides the changes to gameplay, DeRace is changing the schedule of its vesting. Vesting is the process of locking tokens away and releasing them after a given time. These vested tokens often belong to team members, advisors, investors and business partners. Also, they also belong to private individuals who bought them via private presales.

The change in schedule is necessary to relieve the selling pressure. Relieving the selling pressure will help to help to manage the prices as the company releases new coins.
