Bored Ape Yacht Club, an NFT-based game metaverse, has announced plans to hold the first-ever ApeFest 2022 in NYC. The event is slated to hold from Monday, June 20 to Thursday, June 26 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm daily. It will hold at Pier 17 at 89 South Street in NYC.
The event is taking place at an indoor/outdoor waterfront venue, which will make the event more fun for all attendees. It is worth mentioning that the ApeFest is open to MAYC and BAAYC holders with tickets on their tokenproof app.

These eligible individuals can also come with a guest each if their tickets come with a +1. Suffice to mention that participants must be above 18 years old and must show a passport, state ID, or a driver’s license as proof.
How to Get Tickets to Attend ApeFest 2022 in NYC
Bored Ape Yacht Club has partnered with Tokenproof to distribute and verify the ownership of tickets. Interested participants in the event are to download the Tokenproof app from the Google Play or App Store and enroll on the platform using their wallets holding the BAYC/MAYC.
There are no gas or transaction fees associated with the transaction and when the ticket pop-up window opens, click on the “Request tickets” button on the homepage. This will connect your wallet and follow the prompts to complete the request tickets.
The ticket request window will open at 9:00 am ET on June 8 and close at 9:00 am ET on June 9. The tickets will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
How to Know If You Got a Ticket
After all ticket requests have been received and processed, each requester will receive a notification about their tickets. You should note that when you move your BAYC/MAYC out of the enrolled wallet, it will invalidate your ticket.
It is crucial to understand that you cannot transfer your ticket to someone else after obtaining it. Also, if you are not satisfied with the date of the event you are given and want to change it, you can do it through the Tokenproof app.
You do not have to worry that you will lose your original ticket. As soon as your preferred event date is confirmed, you can release your old ticket.
