Details of the Faraland Flash Tournament

This is a PVP contest set to go live by 8:00 AM UTC on the 2nd of October. Participants have from that date till 8:00 AM UTC on October 5th to engage in battles and rake up maximum points. As with usual practice, Faraland will reset the ranking system before the competition goes live on October 2nd.

Once the tournament begins, participants will be opportune to engage in 20 matches. Only those who meet these criteria will be eligible for rewards. Speaking of prizes, Faraland will be compensating those that finish in the top 300 spots on the rankings.

After this first round, the system will sort contestants into four pools according to each player’s position on the leaderboard. The pools will be according to 4 different periods in a day. More so, contestants can only engage with users from their pool

• 00:00 UTC.
• 08:00 UTC.
• 12:00 UTC.
• 16:00 UTC.

After the team puts everyone into different categories, they will assign 20 bots to each person. These bots can only appear within in-game frames and will be reset by 00:00 UTC every day. As with standard practice, only accounts with 3 Heroes or more can engage in PVP battles. The sword icon will appear in the PVP section once the time frame is complete.

Rules Guarding This Tournament

Interested players must know the following rules before joining the Faraland Flash Tournament:

• Only those who are part of guilds are eligible for this tournament. People who participate in this contest without meeting this eligibility criteria will see their ELO points reset to 2000.
• Faraland is strongly advising players against exploiting bugs within the games to their advantage. Participants who notice anything suspicious should take videos or images as proof of such incidents. The team will review the footage and punish the offender by deducting 100 ELO from their profile.

Updates in the Sidus Heroes Nidum Version 0.2.23

With this new update, players will now have limited access and subscriptions to the Longum NFT Collection. This means that users without Heroes will be able to play the Arena Battler. Over 7 days, individuals will get 3 Longum collection cards to use for battles.

Nevertheless, these free players will get non-NFT cards. This means that they may not get the same privileges as the regular NFT players.

Anyone who subscribes without using the trial period will receive an additional 7 extra days to the standard 30-day subscription period. Their Heroes will receive a unique resource known as Trantoe. More so, people can only invest $SIDUS and $SENATE in the modules.

Nidum DeGame Quests

With this new patch note, DeGame is introducing the Linea Entertainment Festival. This is an extraordinary event and will feature every game in the SIDUS Metaverse. The first highlight of this update is the switch to the manual lobbies. For a long time now, players complained about the old lobby system. It was often laggy and delayed contestants from joining challenges as fast as they wanted to.

To resolve player frustration, the team is changing to manual lobbies. This new mechanism is more efficient, and people can quickly join matches without fuss. The team believes that this seemingly simple change can comprehensively revolutionize the overall gaming experience of players.

Besides the lobby system, modifications are coming to the game’s user interface. Significant changes will take place in the UI and improve the aesthetics. Furthermore, the team is introducing multiple in-game slots UI to enable people to choose available slots that they prefer.

Three Champions Coming to the Champions Arena Season 2

Three new in-game characters Zafrina, Jia, and Lavina will be making an appearance in the second season of the Champions Arena. From this date till the middle of September, players will be able to use these avatars during the course of gameplay. In fact, participants are four times more likely to summon any of them than other avatars in the game.

Meanwhile, players should learn about these new champions and their abilities during gameplay. The reason is that players may also encounter these in-game characters during battles in the Arena in Season 2.

There are two ways to obtain any of these new champions. One of the methods is by summoning them during the course of gameplay. On the other hand, players can mint Zafrina, Lavina, or Jia as an NFT using minting Scrolls via the Estate’s Alter of Champions.

In other news, people do not have to go through the rigorous process of increasing the levels of their avatars. However, these boosters will only be available for a limited time, and people will no longer be able to use them once the new Legendary Champions Summons gain regular odds.

Other Updates in the Game

Faraland Refactor Code V0.3.0 and Areas of Improvement

While optimizing the source code, Faraland is also improving certain aspects of gameplay. The tournament will be broadcast live for members around the world to tune in. Anyone who wants to participate virtually can join in via Facebook and the Official YouTube Channel. The live stream will be hosted by Hazel (an ambassador to the project) and Cathal (the BOD).

Details of the Metastrike Tournament

Unlike regular tournaments, this competition is only between specific web3 gaming guilds and selected teams. These guilds will be sorted into four groups, with each group consisting of 6 different teams. At the group stage, there will be five PVP battles that will see everyone take on each other.

Below are the different guilds in their respective groups:

• Group A: Ancient 8, GGS master, Mad Labs Guild, Immortal, X8 Guild, and Avocado DAO.
• Group B: Degend Legends, Gachibass Gaming, Galaxy Forces, USB, GGS Platform, and Procent Guild.
• Group C: Black Ops, APAC DAO, X8 eSports, GGS LATAM and Xephyrion.
• Group D: GGS Png4, Crypto Inside, PP Team, Babux Team, Shadow Legacy, and Eternity.

After these five battles, the top 2 participants will progress to the qualifiers. Below is the format this process will take:

• 1st position in Group A vs. 2nd position in Group C.
• 2nd position in Group A vs. 1st position in Group C.
• 1st position in Group B vs. 2nd position in Group D.
• 2nd position in Group B vs. 1st position in Group D.

The qualifiers will comprise 8 different teams slugging it out for the four semi-final spots. This process will continue till two teams meet in the final and one of them emerges a winner.

Metastrike earlier stated that they are setting aside $50,000 as the prize pool for this tournament. The update also hinted at the use of a leaderboard ranking system. Despite the announcement, the team did not state how the rewards will be distributed to the winners.

The tournament will go live on Thursday, the 10th of August. Participants have from that date till the 23rd of September to compete for top positions in the ranking. Therefore, players should engage in as many battles as possible. The team is setting aside a $50,000 prize pool for this contest. In addition, those who rank in the top 100 places on the leaderboard will receive exquisite parts of the brand-new X.L.R. Robot.

Anyone who receives this NFT will have a significant edge in battle. This is because the Hermes is arguably the fastest and most agile robot. In addition to its speed, this bot has significant defense artillery and auto-regenerative abilities. This means that players can take significant damage on the battlefield.
