The reason is that the refactoring code improves the game’s source code and enables a sleeker experience for both iOS and Android devices. In addition, it makes the process effecting maintenance and fixing of bugs to become straightforward. This is such that Faraland will not have to undergo significant downtime in order to make changes to the new system.

Faraland Refactor Code V0.3.0 and Areas of Improvement

While optimizing the source code, Faraland is also improving certain aspects of gameplay. For example, they are reengineering the pathfinding logic that guides avatar navigation within the virtual world. This means that players will be able to control their in-game characters much better during PVP and PVE gaming.

In addition, the team is altering the Move Cost and making it dependent on terrain. Henceforth, the amount will remain fixed when moving within a particular terrain. However, the price will change as people move out of that specific terrain.

Below is a summary of the new Move Cost:

• Land – 1.
• Water – 1.5.
• Abyss – 2.

Meanwhile, there will be no alterations to the move range. On the other hand, there is a complete overhaul of the skill system. The Faraland Refactor Code V0.3.0 is totally changing the 28 skill trees and 7 skill books. Although the team is keeping all the skills, the hero will now move to a random area instead of being directed by the player once individuals use the “Heroic Charge” skill.

The new skill mechanism will introduce cooldown or reset times every time people use a power-up. Faraland believes that this new system will encourage better in-game strategies. Furthermore, there is now a new map system within the game. This unexplored area offers hidden treasures, exhilarating challenges, and fantastic quests to keep people engaged.

Detail of the Faraland Version v.0.2.23

The Faraland Version v.0.2.23 goes live on the 1st of March. Following its launch, the team released official and backup links for players to download the game.

They include those below:

While making the announcement, Faraland also pointed out that players must meet specific requirements to enable them to wear equipment. They include STR, AGI and INT. Users must reach at least 2 of these requisites to activate a tool.

In addition, gamers must attain selected milestones to level up their digital assets. This includes the player’s ranks and stats. NFTs with higher levels will summon more important requirements. However, the process for Common, Uncommon and Rare in-game items will remain the same.

Below is a breakdown of their different demands:

• Epic: Level 30 and Stat 15
• Legendary: Level 40 and stat 20
• Mythical: Level 50 and stat 25.

More so, the devs have fixed some defaults with the game. This is to ensure that users ensure more seamless gameplay. Faraland is adding a new set of items to the game.

These are the bugs that have been improved on:

• The Yeti is not showing up when playing the PVP game mode.
• Not being able to utilize the Shiel Mastery Skill in the PVP mode.
• Your daily rewards are not appearing in the reward system.

Winning Artwork Now Part of In-Game Characters

Earlier in December 2022, Faraland launched a Costume Design Contest. Community members greatly supported this art competition, while global artists also participated. Following its completion, “Kingdom“, an artwork from Bonn James Teano emerged as the winner.

On the 28th of February, by 3:00 UTC, Faraland integrated this design into the game. Players can get this digital asset by owning the Lady of the Lake collection. Furthermore, the winning artist will receive a 2% commission for everyone who purchases this in-game item. This will run from the 28th of February to the 28th of April.

In-game Quests

Faraland offers an immersive diversified mission system where gamers can participate in various mission routes. These missions are well-crafted and include daily missions, randomly hidden quests, and story quests. Each quest has a different ending, and players who complete these quests will receive the final treasure.

Each quest has unique rewards, including Soul Stones, Materials, Gem, and Faraland Partner’s Token/items. Players can exchange the Soul Stones and Gem for Fara Tokens on the market. They can use the materials to forge equipment.

Materials Collection

Faraland also has a unique career system with each race having distinct attributes. Players can build valuable in-game items through the crafting system with droppable raw materials. These in-game items include weapons, potions, clothes, heroes’ equipment, and support props. Players can trade these raw materials for $FARA on the market.

Ranking PvP

This allows players to compete with opponents in their ranking tier. Winners will share in the Hero floor price of the opponent and gain ranking points. Faraland distributes rewards after each season based on the player’s rank. You earn more rare items and Gems when you rank higher.

Other Ways to Earn while Playing Faraland

In addition to the above, players can earn by trading Hero, items, and Demi Hero in the game. They can also earn by renting their Heroes to others and participating in other projects within the Faraland ecosystem. You can also stake to earn on the game platform.

How Much Can You Earn while Playing Faraland?

You can earn between 10 and 30 Soul Stones playing Faraland per day. Each Soul Stone is equivalent to about $0.19, which means if you earn 20 Soul Stones daily, you make about $5.7 per day. So, what is Blacksmith? It is the latest add-on feature to the Crafting System in the Faraland ecosystem. Moreover, it rewards players with a specific amount of EXP for each craft. 

According to the game platform, the number of EXP each player receives is determined by the recipe rarity. Also, a player with a higher Blacksmith level will gain a higher success rate.

How the Blacksmith Feature Works in Faraland

Players will receive the amount of EXP that corresponds to the Items they craft. Also, Faraland has revealed that already crafted addresses will count towards Blacksmith Skill Points. Additionally, the limit of Blacksmith is 10 levels, and players start at level 0. 

Highlights of EXP Required to Level Up

According to the game platform, the highlights of the EXP required to level up are enumerated as follows:

• Level 0: Leveling up to level one boosts your chance of obtaining the highest rarity of every item by 1% for Legendary and Mythical and 2% for Epic or lower. You require 100 EXP to level up.
• Level 1: The chance of obtaining the highest rarity of items increases by 2% for Legendary and Mythical and 4% for Epic or lower. However, you need 200 EXP to level up. 
• Level 2: This requires 300 EXP to level up, and the level increases your chance of acquiring the highest rarity of each item by 3% for Legendary and Mythical, while it is 6% for Epic or lower.
• Level 3: This increases the chances of obtaining the highest rarity of each item by 6% for Legendary and Mythical. It is 12% for Epic or lower. It requires 400 EXP to level up.
• Level 4: You need 500 EXP to level up on this level. It increases your chance of acquiring the highest rarity by 5%.
• Level 5: This levels you up to level 6, and you have a chance of obtaining the highest rarity of items by 6%. You need 600 EXP to level up.
• Level 6: Leveling up to level 7 requires 700 EXP, and the chance of getting the highest rarity increases to 7% for Legendary and Mythical but 14% for Epic or lower.
• Level 7: This requires 800 EXP to level up, and you get an 8% chance of acquiring the highest rarity for Legendary and Mythical and 16% for Epic or lower.
• Level 8: This boosts the possibility of obtaining the highest rarity by 9% for Legendary and Mythical and 18% for Epic or lower. You need 900 EXP to level up.
• Level 9: This requires 1000 EXP to level up and increases your chance of obtaining the highest rarity by 10%.
