Cryptoverse Early Access Playtest Starts Today

The play-to-earn 3D metaverse, Cryptoverse, launches its Early Access Playtest today, January 26, at 15:00 CET. The event will offer registered participants an opportunity to explore the virtual world, personalize their avatars, build structures, and more.

They will be able to do these activities using the platform’s real-time builder tool. Participants can also explore the Cryptoverse map and test the many core features while participating in daily events to win numerous prizes.

How to Enter Cryptoverse for the Early Access Playtest

The first step is to sign up for an Epic Games account and download the Cryptoverse client. After the download, unzip the content and run the file – Cryptoverse.exe. Accept the terms and conditions, and click “Authenticate” to give access to your Epic Games account.

Click on “Find Sessions” and choose a server by clicking on it. That is all! Note that you may have to wait for a vacant server when accessing the platform because there is a limit to the number of users that can use a server per time.

Highlights of the System Requirements for the Event

Cryptoverse playtest showcases Cryptoverse’s first real-world use. Therefore, the specific system requirements are yet to be established. Nevertheless, you should have minimal requirements for a seamless experience.

The minimal requirements are 64-bit Windows 10 or later, 10GB of storage space, and 16GB RAM. The CPU should be Quad-core; 3.2+ GHz and the GPU should be NVIDIA 3060 or its equivalent.

Cryptoverse assures that the team plans to minimize the requirements when optimization improves. With improved optimization, it will recommend hardware settings that are not as powerful as the current requirements.

What Activities can Participants explore in the Cryptoverse Playtest?

The Cryptoverse Playtest centers on some core experiences, which are an introduction to many possibilities to be unlocked. Some activities and experiences participants can look forward to while exploring the Cryptoverse include:

Customization of Avatar: Participants can access the Character Editor tool to customize their avatars. The guide on how to use the tool is available on the platform.

Builder Mode: The platform has a Builder Mode, which participants can use to create content. The tool is accessible through the dedicated Building Area. You can find this on the map as a huge semi-transparent blue cube behind the Information Center and the Main Plaza.

Driving Vehicles: The platform offers an impressive arena for driving, sports, commuting, or sightseeing. Participants can drive a variety of cars and enjoy their numerous features.

Additionally, they can interact with other audience members in the auditorium. The Cryptoverse Playtest promises to offer loads of exciting activities that participants will love.
