ONCHAMON needs on-chain data for features like stats tracking. To make existing pets compatible, a migration converts them into credits for participating in the new world. Simply submit pets via the website by October 24th. Unmerged pets can still play other My Defi Pet games.

How to Migrate Your Pets

To migrate, you need to register yourself on the platform. The migration process will stay live from right now till October 24th at 3 PM UTC, and that gives you plenty of time to submit pets. Finally, be sure to check the credits earned after submitting and make sure you get the right amount.

My Defi Pet Rarity Conversion Scheme

Depending on the type of pet, the number of credits will also differ. The system will have 1 Credit for Common, 2 Credits for Rare, 3 Credits for Epic,4 Credits for Legendary, 5 Credits for Immortal, 6 Credits for Arcana, and 8 Credits for Ultimate.

Spirit Level Conversion Scheme

The scheme for converting My Defi Pet spirits to credits is also here, and it offers 1, 2, 6, 18, and 54 credits, respectively, for each level. The levels are from 1-5. Also, keep in mind that pets with spirits will get credits for both parts!

Using and Claiming Your Credits

Credits will soon be valued in DPET for activities like the upcoming EGGVENTURE and others like it in the future. Details on claiming credits will also come out soon! Your credits will be on the KardiaChain, and once you get the credits, you cannot get your PET back.

Have Issues Checking Rarity?

Some pets return unclear rarity data, and this issue can happen for some users. If you migrate anyway, then you will get 1 default credit. Additionally, you can also report issues to the platform via a form and wait for an update. The response will likely come after the process of migrating all the pets is complete on the platform.

How to Breed My DeFi Pets

Just like in the real world, players in My DeFi Pet metaverse can breed pets to create new offspring. When you bring two pets together to breed a new generation, there is a high probability that the new offspring will inherit the blood and body parts of the parents.

Some features that the new pets can inherit include the wings, tail, and body type, among others. These new pets can also have new parts that may not be visible in the parents but their recessive traits. Players can breed a pet with an owned sire that is called the matron or with siring approval.

To get a siring approval, players must pre-pay the DPET token fee to the first caller of the Birth. After breeding the new pet, it is assigned to the matron, who is the current owner.

Following the successful completion of the breeding phase, the new pet and the matron are ready to go through the breeding process again. It is worth mentioning that anyone can call for the breeding function as long as they have the fund to pay for gas.

Details of the Voting Activity

My DeFi Pet has announced that there are two options that its team puts in place to receive the fee after the burning of each Pet process on the Sacred Temple for its Spirits. The options are as follows:

• Option One: Stop refunding fee
• Option Two: Keep sending the refund fees to users

The voting mechanism is 1 $DPET for each vote. It is worth mentioning that the more $DPET a user holds in their wallet, the more votes they will have. The voting will take place through two different links for every user on the BSC Chain and Kardia Chain. Voters must select the correct link based on their usage chain so they can get legitimate voting results.

What Happens to the Pet V1 after the Introduction of the Pet V2?

Pets V1 is still playable using the normal functions. They are also still tradable but players can no longer buy Pet V1 eggs nor can they breed them. It is worth mentioning that the smart contracts for the Pet V1 eggs breeding and buying features are no longer working. They will also be terminated shortly.

Highlights of the Pet V2 Conversion

Players can convert their Pet to Pet V2. When a player converts a Pet to V2, there will be no changes to its stage and it will remain as the VI counterpart. The only parts that will change are its appearance/skin and the stats.

The gene will also remain the same. It should be noted that the Pet V2 egg costs 10 $DPET and the first evolution process of the Pet V2 is priced at 10 $DPET.

What is the Process of Breeding Pet V2?

The breeding limit for the Pet V2 is seven times. After completing each breeding process, the platform can increase or adjust the cost to breed each Pet.

Users should note that the Breed price of the Parents is determined by the number of times that a Pet is used for breeding. The following is the guide for determining the breeding times and the price:

• First Breed: 6 $DPET
• Second Breed: 7 $DPET
• Third Breed: 10 $DPET
• Fourth: 13 $DPET
• Fifth Breed: 20 $DPET
• Sixth Breed: 32 $DPET
• Seventh Breed: 54 $DPET

That means if you breed a Pet Parents 1 for the first time and a Pet Parents the third time, the price for the breeding would be 6 $DPET plus 10 $DPET and the total cost of breeding them would be 16 $DPET. My DeFi Pet announced that Pet V2 must be evolved before they are bred.

Highlights of the Pet Upgrade Mechanism

Not all pets are qualified for the transformation as My DeFi Pet has mentioned that only evolved L-20 Pets in V1 are qualified for the transformation into V2. Every turn takes 5 $DPET to enable the PET to transform. It should be noted that the gas fee for the transaction is not accounted for in the mentioned cost.

When a player decides to upgrade their pet, the V1 pets have to be returned to the legacy land, which means it will be burned. After this activity, the V2 pets will be available to accompany their owners. 

What are the Highlights of the Pet V2?

It is worth mentioning that the Pet V2 will have major changes in their appearances. They will also have stronger statistics than what is available in V1. My DeFi Pet will provide more details on the new features of the Pet V2 very soon. The Pet V2 is a completely new version of the pets.

That means the cooldown, cooldown index, and breed number will be reset to zero. However, the status quo, physical features, and genes of a pet will remain the same to maintain the familiarity and rarity of the pet with the owner.

Pet owners whose Pets V1 have not attained level 20 can continue to train them within the next four weeks to make them eligible for the upgrade. Pet owners can then decide whether or not to upgrade them to V2.

Suffice to mention that the system took a snapshot on July 10 at 7:00 pm GMT +7. According to My DeFi Pet, this will be a grand new era for all Pet Masters.

A massive upgrade of the Game Server

The game server received a massive update with an improved rocket engine. According to My DeFi Pet, the team has upgraded and changed the game server logic, which means the server is now more stable and secure.

Details of My DeFi Pet NFT Sale

This took place on February 9 at 12:00 UTC+8. The sales launch offers different NFT items for sale. These include Rare My DeFi Pet Winged Pupper (Poison), Rudolph (Thunder), Adonis (Fire), and Fang (Earth).

2,000 units were available for each NFT, and each was sold in a Blind auction sale for at least 10,000 DEAPcoin, while the instant sale was for 12,000 DEAPcoin for each.
