Details of the Wanaka Marketplace V2 Deployment

Wanaka Farm is deploying the marketplace V2 on the 1st of August. Once it goes live, the team will take down the old platform. In this regard, the official website will become https://marketplace.wanakafarm.com/. This will be against the current webpage of https://beta-marketplace.wanakafarm.com/.

However, Wanaka will not be completely removing the old platform. Instead, it will become a subsection on the new site. Nonetheless, the dev team is giving users one month’s grace period. Investors have till the 30th of August to transfer their old offers. Meanwhile, the deadline for harvesting $WANA tokens from existing staking pools is the 31st of July 2022.

Once the time elapses, the beta marketplace will be entirely taken down. Anyone who has not cancelled their offers will have to contact the service agents for support, as they will no longer be able to do it from the frontend interface. On the other hand, the NFTs will not be affected by this transition. The reason is that they are stored in your wallet, not in the marketplace.

When the staking was introduced, it was announced that the pool could be harvested on the 20th of July. However, many people missed out on that date. The team is extending this deadline because of the recent upgrade. Anyone who misses this opportunity must wait until January 2023 after opening a ticket. In the meantime, they can also get the necessary information from the official Reddit forum. Highlights of Staking APR and Reward Scheme

Stakers have up to 180 days of staking and the staking periods cover Pool I to Pool IV. The staking rewards are categorized into 30 days, 90 days, and 180 days, with 180 days having the highest rewards. For Pool 1, the rewards for the three periods are 9%, 11%, and 15%, respectively. 

In addition to the 15% for 180 days of staking, stakers also get five Rolly Pet Eggs each month during the staking period. The highlights of the other Pool stages over a staking period of 30 days, 90 days, and 180 days are enumerated below, respectively:

• Pool II: 12%, 16% plus 5 Random Talpa Pet Egg each month, and 19% plus top ten stakers get a Landbox each.
• Pool III: 15%, 20% plus 3 Random Landbox each month, and 23% plus top fifteen stakers get a Landbox each.

Details of the Wanaka Farm v.1.1.1 Patch

Introduction of New Items

As mentioned above, there will be new items coming to the Wanaka Farm in the v.1.1.1 patch. One of such is the growing items, and they include the following:

• Corn – level 16
• Orange – level 17
• Goat – level 18
• Plaice – level 19

Each of these things listed above will have both normal and mutant NFT rarity. The former will grow regularly, and the process will take place in three phases. While the latter skips the first stage and matures much faster. Furthermore, each of them has a class where they belong. For example, corn is a vegetable that grows during the winter. While orange is a tree that blossoms during spring. The Goat is an animal that thrives in the summer. Then Plaice is a fish best suited for autumn.

These new additions to the game have an effect that continues along the processing and production line. For instance, Corn can be processed into Kernel and flour. You can also get slices and peels from Orange. Users can get bones and fillets from the Plaice fish. While Goat offers shank and horn.

These groceries are not the final creations of these in-game items. You can even convert them into more consumable or usable products. For example, users can make popcorn from the Kernel. Similarly, they can prepare corn soup using flour. Combine orange slices with some sugar, and you will have some juice. On the other hand, mixing it with orange peels instead will give you candies.

You can make fried Plaice from the fillet. Similarly, you can carve the bones into making a hook. Take the Goat horn to the factory and convert it into ivory. Or simply add salt and pepper to a shank to convert it to rare Goat meat.

To rent a plot of land, users will have to use the Wanaka Farm Rental System Guide. On the dashboard, they will be able to view the different plots available for rent. They include the Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Immortal and Mythical Lands. Each one has its own features, benefits and the number of them available.

To filter out the options to the one you prefer, you can select the season you want. Similarly, you can also choose the number of plots, as well as the duration for which you want to rent it. After inputting the criteria that suit what you want, click on “Apply Filter” to proceed.

The system will then fetch all the available Lands that meet the features you earlier selected. When the store provides you with the corresponding results, sort through them. Highlights of the Update Details

Mechanism of Land Rental

Also known as the Rental System, the mechanism of Land Rental has received a major change. With the new update, the rental fee will be $WANA and the transport fee for the renter to the rented land will be $WAI. The Land has to be attached to the Map within the game before it can be rented.

The eligibility for rent auto-renewal is established 24 hours before the expiration of the existing contract. Renters have the freedom to rent multiple land contracts and when the contracts come to an end, all growing items on the plots before the harvest stage will return as seeds to the Inventory and as Harvested Items during the Harvest stage.

Transportation System

This is released to fulfill the needs of traveling across rental lands through the Rental System. Wanaka Farm has revealed that this transportation system would also be used to move to and from WanaTown and move to friend’s farms after the Multiplayer mode has been finalized.

In this new version, all players will have a default station featuring basic functions for free. Players can upgrade in the future to experience more facilities at the station.

Default Land Mechanism Adjustment

The launch of the Land Rental System necessitates the return of the role of Default Land back to the concept of absolute game experience. To explore the concept of free-to-play, Default Land Player would have the freedom to enjoy the facilities within WANAKA Farm. However, to earn in the game, players must rent or own an NFT Land.

CAPTCHA Image System

Details of the Wanaka Farm Patch Notes 1.0.12

One of the reasons for this new patch is the malfunctioning of the previous launcher. It was not running smoothly and gave players trouble any time the game was updated. In the Patch Notes 1.0.12, Wanaka Farms upgrades the existing launcher to Launcher v.2.0.0 (Windows). Following this upgrade, the launcher will now automatically update itself and the game. However, players will need to download the new Launcher v.2.0.0 after the maintenance is complete.

In the Patch Notes v.1.0.9, Wanaka Farms neither explained the “Saving” feature nor the Farm Care Pet Icon Log. Following this new Patch Note, the blockchain game is offering explanations for these features. More information are in the summary below:

Players must own either a Saving Feeding, Saving Watering or Saving Energy stat. Users can only claims 1 claim one rewards per week, on Monday by 0:00 UTC. Should a player not claim an item, it will be accumulated as Saving Item. However, the player will have to wait for the following week to claim unclaimed rewards.

The Icon Log is a dashboard showing items used in the current week. This involves items used from Monday 0:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59:59 UTC. After midnight every Sunday, Wanaka Farm resets this counter.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

Besides the changes mentioned above, there are other adjustments that are made to improve user experience. One of such is fixing the issue of players not being able to customize the game’s volume. Also, Farm Care Pet stats will now automatically update itself.

Especially when pet are placed on active land, after using healing items. Furthermore, players will be able to sort through their assets much faster. As Wanaka is adding the Filter feature to inventory.

As part of improving user experience, Wanaka Farm is removing the Right-click function. It believes this will make it easier for players to drag & drop when Combining a Pet. Users should expect much better APIs and smooth Saving Items claims. They will no longer see shadows during the course of gameplay. There are also improvements to ensure that players with low-profile mobile devices no longer experience lagging.

Details of the Wanaka Farms Half-Year Journey

Since its launch in July 2021, Wanaka Farms has come a very long way. After its launch in July, Wanaka audited its project and the governance token for the game in August. In that same month, it also entered into partnerships with 15 key partners. Wanaka Farms also partnered with 3 decentralized launchpads for its IDO.

By September, it launched its IDO on PancakeSwap. By the 20^th of September, there was a closed alpha testing exercise. Alongside his testing was the sale of LANDs. By October, Wanaka announced its entry into the Binance MVB III. October was also the month of the official game launch. In that same October, it upgraded the server to serve the 100,000 Wanaka Farmers. The game also unveiled the Wanaka launchpad.

By November 2021, daily quests mechanism was added to the game. November was also the time of the 2^nd Time Game pre-launch. By December, Wanaka added the new weekly quests. It also adjusted the daily quest mechanism to ensure stability. By December, the game announced the onboarding of two new advisors. By February, it released the roadmap for the year. This includes scholarships, Spring Theme and New Land Sales.

Plans for the Future

Wanaka has obviously made significant progress since its launch. Despite the claims of limitations, the numbers speak for themselves. More Details about the Patch 1.0.9 Updates

Pet Farm System

The version of the game now allows players to open s Pet Egg that they already incubated while using the previous version of the game. This new development will help them to farm easier. Suffice to mention that the Combine and Separate Pet functionality is not included in the new update but is currently in development.

It is expected to be included when the next update is released. It should also be noted that players Egg Items will no longer be available on the Inventory screen.

Details of Pet Screen

• Level Pet: Players can level up their Pet from this menu.
• Pet Stats: There are different features incorporated in the Pet Stats. They include the Health Stat; Satiety, which refers to fullness and hunger; Energy Stat
• Saving items in a current week
• Growing Items slots for the Pet to care for. Suffice to mention that the volume of slots to be taken care of will depend on the Level and Rarity of the item. It should also be noted that players will have the freedom to select growing items for their pets to care for free.
