The Sandbox has announced a new collaboration with Mocaverse, which will bring a series of exclusive experiences and events from August 7 to August 20. This collaboration follows the success of the “Into the Unknown Game Jam,” which led to the creation of nearly 50 futuristic multiplayer games, and aims to continue promoting co-creation within The Sandbox community.
During the event, players will have the opportunity to explore Mocaland, a virtual world within The Sandbox that integrates community-developed content, with the goal of expanding Mocaverse’s story and universe. This virtual space will include the new Moca HQ, where participants can connect with the Mocaverse community and engage in various activities, such as taking on challenges created by the winners of the “Into the Unknown Game Jam.” Participants will have the chance to earn Realm Points (RP), exclusive rewards, and more.
Developers have also contributed to the event with eight user-generated content (UGC) experiences integrated into Mocaland. These experiences range from cooperative arcade games to parkour challenges and space battles. Each offers a different gameplay dynamic, designed to appeal to a wide range of players and encourage community participation.
The Sandbox and Mocaverse Offer Great Prizes
To incentivize participation, a reward system has been established for players who complete at least 65 missions during the event. The rewards include 30,000 SAND tokens, a Mocaverse NFT accompanied by 47,554.52 $MOCA tokens, and Mocaverse-themed assets. Additionally, participating players must register a Moca ID and connect their The Sandbox account with their Mocaverse account by August 15 to be eligible for the rewards.
