For the first time in three years, passionate players will assemble and have a good time in Japan. Even more exciting, Phantom Galaxies will be joining them at the Tokyo Games Show 2022. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak, the editions in 2020 and 2021 have been online. However, everyone will get the opportunity to meet in person for this year’s version.

This is a significant breakthrough, as this GameFi project becomes one of the first to join traditional gaming displays. More so, the team is gearing up for this event. According to a tweet, there will be a maiden public “the first-ever public Phantom Galaxies showcase.” In addition, there will also be a sneak peek at a unique in-game feature that has not been revealed before. Meanwhile, Yield Guild Games will also be a guest at this upcoming social gathering.
The Tokyo Games show is from the 15th to the 18th of September 2022. According to details from the official website, the venue for this event is Makuhari Messe. Over four days, attendants will be thrilled by the MC services of Kosuke HIRAIWA and Shouhei TAGUCHI. This year’s edition is organized by Computer Entertainment Supplierʼs Association (CESA) and co-organized by Nikkei Business Publications, Inc & DENTSU INC.
This year’s show is divided into Business and Public Days. While the latter is for everyone, only those working within the gaming industry can join the former.
Rules and Regulations for The Tokyo Games Show 2022
There are specific guidelines for this event, some of which apply to community members of Phantom Galaxies during the Tokyo Games Show 2022. Here are the rules and regulations guiding this event:
- The venue’s temperature can be very warm within and around the exhibition hall. Participants are advised to remain hydrated, especially in crowded areas.
- Queueing outside the show’s venue entrance overnight is strongly prohibited.
- As mentioned earlier, 2 of these four days are set aside for industry experts. Any gaming outfit interested in participating must register before the program commences.
- To avoid accidents, attendees should refrain from running along the hallways.
- Everyone must follow the instructions of the attendants at all times. Failure to do so may see you being evicted from the venue.
- Smoking or eating within the venue is disallowed. Kindly use designated areas if you feel the urge to do so.
- During the event, everyone is urged against using selfie sticks or microphones.
- Avoid jumping, cheering, shouting or calling out during live performances in your booth.
- Everyone in exhibition halls 1-8 must turn off their internet connections to avoid slowing down the network performance.
